Tracey Prepok
I have been at Dolphin Coast Pre-Primary since the beginning of 2010 and love being the Principal at this amazing little school. My job is to ensure the smooth running of the school, this being all things, staff, children, maintenance, and finance related.
I have lived on the Dolphin Coast for most of my adult life and have loved every minute of it. I have a wonderfully supportive husband and two amazing adult daughters who live in Cape Town.
In my spare time I volunteer for Sables Creatures and on weekends you will often find me doing either an outreach, a steri clinic or a fundraiser to assist Sables Creatures, a pro-life animal rescue in Ballito. I also have three of my own fur children that I adore.
I also love walking and going to the beach in summer. I have an open-door policy so please feel free to pop into my office anytime even if it’s just to say hi!

I have a nursing background and discovered my passion for teaching after enrolling my now adult daughter Jodi in Dolphin Coast Pre-Primary for her preschool years. I studied through Caversham Educational institute and received my Diploma in Early Childhood Development.
My other passion is nature and animals specifically snakes and other reptiles. I am part of the Ndlondlo Reptile Park team so most afternoons and weekends you will find me doing snake removals and assisting with educational demonstrations, teaching and educating people on these misunderstood animals. I find great pleasure in combining my love of teaching and conserving our animals through my lesson plans and themes and my hope is to encourage the younger generation to respect our beautiful planet and all that call it home.
Dolphin Coast Pre-Primary is a home away from home and when your child enters my classroom, my aim is for them to feel loved, safe, appreciated and heard. I am fiercely protective of my little ones and encourage them to embrace their own unique qualities and appreciate the differences in others.

I stepped into the role of Grade R educator in 2022 and I truly love teaching and making connections with these creative, imaginative and unpredictable 5/6 year olds. Grade R is such a pivotal year and lays the groundwork for future learning. I hope to instill values and teach skills to the children in my class which will launch them into primary school and shape their educational journey. It has been particularly exciting to implement the Time to Read programme at our school and to watch the incredible progress in the Grade R’s literacy skills throughout the important year.
